I once held Steve Miller's white Gibson Les paul guitar, as he came off stage with his band at a 1982 'abracadabra' tour gig in Liverpool, while he attempted to fix his attire. His button had burst on his leather kecks, and they were literally around his knees. One of his roadies ran over and snatched it from my grasp, and said "Thanks, man".
