Someone posted last week that for some unfathomable reason its accepted practice in the Premier League to pay a player one more extra month's wages when their contract expires if they haven't foud a new deal yet.

So if DCL and Doucoure's contracts expired on 30th June, they would have got another payment from Everton at the end of July too, so they are only a few days into being forced to sign on down at the DWP.
