You’re not wrong but I don’t think it’s his natural game to do that, it’s just that if he doesn’t old Pep has one of his head rubbing meltdowns on the sideline. He’s probably also been told so what I say not what you want which has taken a bit of life out of him. The Grealish in his last season at Villa was out of this world, no reason why that player can’t still be in there, structured but with more freedom than at city in the attacking third (if and when we get there…)
