It's like when I see people getting fined for not having a valid Skytrain fare - it's never the 'sketchy' people. I always see business men, women with a baby in a stroller, or a couple who just spent a fortune on electronics (and would take up a huge amount of space on the train with it). These are people who would have the money for it but they're the ones who aren't paying their fare.
The TSA are waaaaaay overboard with their searches (go figure I don't want to fly anywhere) but there may be a method to the madness of who gets searched.
