Flash Drives plug into a USB socket.
Most desktop computers have about four on the front and four on the back.

The keyboard plugs into a USB socket. The mouse plugs into a USB socket.
A cable to charge your cellphone plugs into a USB socket.
You can't do anything to mess that old computer up any more than it already is.😄
