Thanks for your reply about the Methodist Churches.
I did find in the Western Morning News Feb 15 1930 (and in 1927) that there was a Wesley Church Ebrington St and a Ebrington St United Methodist Church, both advertising services at 11 am. I think the idea that one was a Primitive Methodist Church fits. I have happily worked out that it was the United Methodist that my people attended. Thankyou for the input, it helped me to resolve the issue.
