Re: Ebrington St Methodist Church

I don't believe there were 2 Methodist Chapels in Ebrington Street. There was a Primitive Methodist Chapel, Ebrington Street (Norley House) which was sold in 1905. The other Ebrington Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was destroyed in WW2. If you search Plymouth Archives Catalogue you will find loads of records relating to both of these Chapels. Also if you search the catalogue you will see that there was a Wesley Methodist Chapel in Ham Street. Again details from the catalogue gives in the Plymouth Methodist Circuit Ham Street Wesleyan, later Ebrington Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. Ham Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel became Ebrington Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel c1903-1904 which to me fits with the Primitive Methodist Chapel in Ebrington Street being sold in 1905
