I am researching Admiral Henry Lydgbird Ball whose illegitimate daughter married in 1810 in Holborn, London Joseph Freeman Rattenbury whose father also called Joseoh was Recorder and Chamberlaine for Plymouth. Died 1817. His sister Elizabeth's death was recorded by the Society of Friends. Any information about the Rattenbury family would be much appreciated. Were they Quakers ?
