But a Henry NOTT of Bideford married Anne SELLICK of Harberton, Devon, 6 miles from South Brent (where a Henry NOTT was baptised in 1806) in Harberton by licence in 1824. Mrs Anne NOTT died in Torrington in August 1839, at her brother's house.
This would hinge on a C19 typo in young Henry's baptism record. There are also quite a few NOTTs floating around N. Devon.
