I recently found my 2xgreat grandmother under Rebecca Prescott although she was using the name of Rachel. She was baptised in a noncomformist church in Stoke Demeral 1819. Her parents were Samuel Prescott and Rebecca. Could the names of her mother Rebecca have been confused with Rachel or perhaps having 2 Rebeccas in the family the child was called Rachel. Any views please.
