Why have the "48" Channels disappeared from my TV set?

The other day I tried to tune in Channel 48.4 (METV+) and all I got was "snow." My channel selector now jumps from the 44s to 50? Did those stations go out of business?

Hmmm...

Just a guess on my part. It might be the result of either the actual snow that fell the other day outside or perhaps it's your TV antenna rather than your channel selector jumping around.

I don't know if a simple reboot, kinda like a computer, will do the trick.

ABRockNJock is correct, depending on your antenna setup, it can be the snowfall.

I recently had to rescan my box. It happens occasionally they shift frequencies, some go dark, some come live w/o any announcement.

I also have Comcast (ack) but they carry most of the OTA sub channels, so it gives an idea when some new channels appear.

They were doing overnight tech work. They frequently post that information on social media to alert people. It's usually Midnight-5AM on Thursday-Friday overnights.
