I don't know about billing. I would think that if Cumulus & Audacy merged, I have to think at least 2 of Audacy's Chicago stations could be sold...And possibly changing formats depending on which stations could be expendable. Audacy is the company that owns 7 stations in this market compared to 3 for Cumulus Media.

I don't know if Hubbard, owner of 97.1 FM The Drive, 101.9 FM The Mix & Throwbacks 100.3, would be interested hypothetically speaking. I don't know if Townsquare Media as well as Connoisseur Media would be interested in adding a Chicago station to its portfolio. Neither company owns a station in this market.

Connoisseur, based in Westport, CT, owns about 13 stations out East in Connecticut, New York & Maryland. Townsquare Media owns about 379 nationwide & operates Ultimate Classic Rock.

All this talk is just that. It's also hypothetical at this stage. We have to wait & see what ultimately happens.
