I remember reading one year that 93.9 Lite FM started playing holiday music as soon as a sales executive saw snowflakes outside WLIT's downtown offices & studios. Seriously. I would like to say it was about 2 weeks into November when WLIT turned on "The Holiday Lite" one year.

Imagine that. Starting a holiday music format as soon as you see snowflakes outside a downtown office building...
