John, they are trying to kill off the AM band. Seriously, literally no one under 40 listens to it and FM is not far behind. SW is dead except in 3rd world countries.

You are 199% correct, AM is the only lifeline in this country because not everywhere is FM feasible and even more true, not everywhere in the US has high speed broadband.

For Ford, this is deleting a few parts and saving some dollars per car x volume. It is Capitalism. The good and bad of it.
