I noticed the bump for 5% right away for the stations that did it. My old Sangean tabletop unit with a stock whip antenna was typically showing 57 to 59 dB for most Chicago stations, which is barely above the lock threshold of about 56 dB. WYCA-HD which is 1 mile away from me shows 72 dB, as the “max” number. Now, many of the Chicago stations range 60 to 66 dB which is really solid. Some of my first adjacents like 94.1 WGFA-FM Watseka and 97.7 WLQI Rensselaer are harder to get now, too.
