We moved from Akeneo CE to UnoPim around six months ago for roughly 50,000 SKUs in four languages. Multilingual attributes and product variants work well. Supplier CSV imports run in the background, and there is no license fee, so we only pay for hosting and any optional extensions.
Our team became comfortable with it within a few weeks. Migrating from Akeneo mainly involved mapping attributes, families, categories, and existing product data. One downside is that UnoPim currently has fewer ready-made extensions than Akeneo.
I would recommend trying the demo first with a sample of your own data and workflows.
