Dear_______: Thank you for taking the time to write us your email. I am an American, a veteran, and equally concerned about the immigration situation. In my business I have to set aside many of my own personal political beliefs and do what is right for the restaurant. I want you to know that we are upset and disappointed at how the situation with Mr. Haworth has developed. We received a complaint about Bob's songs last week and have been working hard to resolve the issue. We evaluate every complaint very closely, and when possible, we discuss the complaint with the person who submitted it, and then we take appropriate action. In this case, we received a very serious complaint that required a great deal of discussion and coordination between the person submitting it, the Haworths, and the owners of our store. Based on our conversations with all involved, the owners determined a course of action. We spoke to Bob about the complaint - and I am confident that Bob is not a racist, nor was his intent to offend anyone. We asked Bob to take a 2 night suspension to resolve the issue - we had hoped to resume his schedule after this brief hiatus. Unfortunately, Bob and Meri found this unacceptable and decided to terminate their relationship with our store. We are disappointed Bob has decided not to perform at our store in the future - we certainly wish him well. If you have additional comments or questions please feel free to contact me directly. Sincerely, Rob Rob Rudloff
