I can't thank you enough for responding with far more information than I could have ever expected. I certainly will keep in mind your invitation for a visit and tour for sure.

I live in Wisconsin on a small 75 acre farm between and south of Brodhead and Juda WI. My mother passed away at 94 years old July 2014 after they were married for 68 years. My father lived here until he made the decision to go to assisted living in November 2015. He now lives at Cozy Lil' Acre-521 Grant St.-Janesville, WI. I sold my home this last October and moved here.

In sorting thru many of their belongings even prior to Dad moving out we found Dad's Sea Bags and a trunk with his military information such as the orders to names etc, of ships I shared. I have a few pictures of him in uniform. His uniform looks so small.

Dad was called back into service in 1950 during the Korean War in which I do know he was on the "USS Young", a destroyer. I don't know much about that time in his service except I have found discharges. I did find a picture on the internet.

I will continue to research as best I can as I find much of this interesting.
