Mr. Brown, I wholeheartedly agree that your prediction is entirely possible. It scares me to death. I don't know why the American people have become so complacent about the hatred that extremists have for us.

Actually, I find referring to the "war on terror" with other phrases to be irresponsible and governing with smoke and mirrors. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.....

In my opinion, to change the name of the war on terror to "overseas contingency operations" is merely a clever yet transparent way to lull the American people into further complacency. If events since 1993 especially the events of 9-11-2001 didn't shake the American people into reality, it frightens me beyond words to think of what it will take for us as a nation to wake up. We have enemies, and sleeping with them does not make me feel one bit safer.

I love you honorable, valiant heroes more than I can express. I wish the individuals in power today, in all branches of the government, had the integrity, bravery, common sense, intellect, insight, etc. that you all do. What a shame that my grandchildren may never know the likes of heroes like you.
