I just received my 1/700 UH-1N from Tom’s Modelworks/Northview Foundry. Yeah a one piece fuselage printed in that nice soft gray resin. Attachment points beneath the fuselage and away from delicate detail. Photo-etch rotors and skids in conjunction with WEM…..Who are these caped crusaders and saviors of 1/700 helos and aircraft? See above “Tom’s Modelworks/Northview Foundry”.
I build numerous 1/700 USN aircraft carriers and flat deck USN gators. The most important feature of these models that I must accessorize properly is the flight deck. Their offering of the UH-1N just scored as a 5 star accessory to my gator flight deck.
If you’re not familiar with Tom’s Modelworks/Northview Foundry I suggest you do investigate. Better yet make a purchase. Need F4F-4 with folded wings go there. How about FM-2 with drop tanks go there. Need a SH-60B with folded boom tail for the flight deck of Spruance tin can go there. Need a CH-53E with folded boom tail and loading ramp down go there.
95% of my 1/700 aircraft collection that go on my flight decks come from there. Ease of build and quality is there.
Oh look and no more board sponsors that I have to kiss ass to and lie about so I don’t get quietly banned.
