A file and/or sharp knife will remove the armament. Perhaps a dab of filler to cover odd engraved windows.

Ok, very special:
Conversion of seven former USAAF B-17 by Saab to F-17 passenger liners for the Swedish airline SILA. Some later served for the Danish DDL and the French Institut Geographique National.
There is a good book including plans (which I have): "The Boeing F-17 Fortress in civil and military service"
