Dan, I am plotting and scheming to build the new card model of Furutaka in 1:200 scale. I have been awaiting a card 1:200 Kako class and Aoba class for eons. The Furutaka is finally here.

In such a big model I want everything right. I have no idea what the white ID streamers the IJN ships flew on each side of their forward superstructure looked like. I have seen them in paintings in all size. Can you help on this?

Also, was Furutaka's main director hood still painted white at the time of Savo? At Cape Esperance?

Was the naval ensign (red ball, white rectangle) still on B turret in these battles?

Any advice on this ship will be much appreciated!
