Another hull that can’t take the offense or defend itself. Not large enough for upgrades of any kind unless you bolt it on ala LCS. Contributes nothing to the fleet but presence.
There is a good reason why Burkes are in demand everywhere. Opposing peer nations are heavily armed as well the third world. This is just a great deal of flag waving and another boondoggle

Instead of the Constellation class, now frigates based on the Coast Guard cutters of the Legend class will be built:

I am curious how many changes they will do with that design: adding better radar, adding sonar, anti-ship missiles, VLS? And will that class be successful? And can they built them rapidly?
