Arizona would join the Task Force after her repairs were complete on 11/13/41.
While at sea, Arizona would temporary become the second ship of BATDIV 1, following the lead of the flag ship USS Nevada.
On 11/17/41, both ships returned to Pearl and Kidd transferred his flag back to USS Arizona.
