For many modelers, such as myself, who prefer to build their kits with aftermarket photoetch and wood decks, the arrival of the HMS Royal Oak kit is welcome (I purchased mine through the initial offering from Squadron). However, I won't be building mine (beyond gluing the hull parts and perhaps the main decks) until those aftermarket products are available.
