Im looking to do the late 90's fit.. not sure what I'm getting in to.. the Trumpy kit is a 75 era fit, so I need all the input I can get..I have looked and have not found any good books with photos yet? thank you for the links, I will be checking them out..

As built, there were a few differences. In current fit, after their RCOHs is another matter. Many changes to both over the years. You start with a "basic Nimitz kit" of her as built, you will need all sorts of changes, but the details of those depend on the time period you are looking for on your Vinson. Previous Message
Good morning guys, I am wanting to build a Nimitz into the Carl Vinson, can anyone give me some pointers and most of all, where could I find a good book on the Carl V with illustrations that would help in the process I'm not looing for a "river Counter" perfect model at the end of the Day, just a good representation..Maybe someone does a 350 Carl V kit???? not sure..thanks for any help you can give Guys..Jay
