Greetings Joe, I build for money, a good place to start is 10X the cost of the kit.. thats a good start point..if they want a bunch of extras like brass upgrades and 3D printed stuff requiring more work you just need to charge for the materials and what you feel you need for the extra work, this is what I do you wont get rich, but I do pretty well..I hope this helps..
