We would also like to point out that all of our 3D printers, their associated consumables, the packing materials we use, and even the software we use for printing, all originates in China. High quality, affordable 3D printers and resins simply are not made in the US. As the effects of the tariffs take hold, we will have to make some changes to our operations in order to stay in business. We deeply regret to say that some of those tariff-response changes may include further price increases.
The part about resin may not be true anymore. I started searching for different sources for printer resins recently, and then this place shows up (amazingly...) in my Facebook feed:
https://www.matterhackers.com
Seems they carry resin made in the US, and if I'm reading their description correctly, the resin I need for my MSLA printers is actually cheaper per liter than what I'm using now (Elegoo standard 2.0). If this is the case, and I didn't see this place before the tariff things started, someone may have responded already. I think a liter might be worth an experiment.
