Well this would not have been Victoria B.C. as there are U.S. sailors and the tug behind the ship is definitely USN.

According to my references the HMS Hood was in a RN world cruise force between November,1923 to September,1924. Because some of the sailors at the pier look American this might be at Honolulu ,HI
, Victoria ,British Columbia , San Francisco,Ca,and then the Panama Canal are the possible places that the photos were taken. Previous Message
