Do I need to remove the timing belt to remove the IP? And if so, then wouldn't I remove the timing belt before the IP?
Also, to do the timing spec it calls for a static timing gauge (J-29763) which I can't find anywhere. Are there other gauges out there that work?
Thank you for your advice, I have never done anything like this before and am new to diesels so I apologize for needing things to be super clear. It would be really helpful to see an overall procedure and what tools I can use in place of the original ones.
