So good to know that, while a few of my friends from Stonecutters (1960-63) are now no longer with us that, thanks to stirling work from Mike Macnamara there is still a few around the traps that still remember the good times.
Ref the posting by Colin on June 18, 2012, my son who, along with his twin sister was born at Bowen Road Military Hospital on Hong Kong island in January, 1961 also visited Russia. He stayed with a general from the Russian Army and visited a rocket base while there (and managed to take some photographs). He was taken to the Bolshoi Ballet and travelled to several places outside of Moscow, one where he did a spot of fishing through a hole in the ice.
