Po Chang? wasn't he the unofficial snake catcher?? If I remember correctly I was told that the Japanese during their occupation used the Island as a snake farm for anti venom purposes?? Also wasn't, their a ruined Geisha house or something ?? I was there when the new gear went in but don't remember the jetties/new antennas. The antenna I do remember well was for an American Circuit to the Philippines (VLPA) which we had to hand raise and lower during typhoons
Was in Hong kong at the beginning of the year and sad to report that Ashely road area has gone all YUPPIE!! Henry's bar was still the same a couple of years ago but now a wine bar!!
