For now, I know that I'm getting close to completing the first five stages of the Octopus Dance. That almost seems sad, though. If you consider that it's only a single player game, and that I might be able to complete all of the stamps by reaching the bonus round, then I would sort of be done playing it soon? At least for completionist purposes, I mean. I could keep playing for fun. I think I got to at least the 48th turn today, because it was the fifth round (yellow/orange background and distinct music), and the scuba guy moved his arms so fast that I didn't even see what he was doing, let alone copying him.
I know for sure that I've seen almost 3/4 of "Yoshi's Fruit Cart" now. I set a new record of 2,233 points (platinum trophy) by reaching gate 37 (no skipping along the way). There was one gate where the gift box was blocked by red spikes, and I hit the lever, but then I touched it again while trying to turn around, so the present was blocked. Who knows if that would've been a 1-up. There was no fruit left to eat on the retry, so I went towards the goal (lots of holes blocking the way).
Gate 37 didn't look complicated (no figuring out what levers to push). I just got too close to the small holes. They don't use a grid or the "graph paper" background to let you figure out how close you are to a hole.
What a cool game that Yoshi attraction is, though.
I guess the only other thing I'm trying to practice at the moment are the time trials from Zelda (Battle Quest?). I went under 50 seconds in the "easy" round. I've gotten down to about 53 seconds in the intermediate, but not in my last 5 or 10 tries. I'm lucky to finish in less than a minute. There has to be a few combos that take out multiple enemies in one arrow. I also can't hit the guys who run towards the stairs.
I didn't realize there was at least 50 hours worth of game, even when you don't play a lot of multiplayer. Either that, or it's taking me a while to improve my skills (but I do notice improvement).
