Hi everyone! I live in Omaha and after the last couple of storm seasons, I finally decided to look into replacing my roof. What really confused me is how inconsistent the quotes are. Some contractors give me numbers that seem reasonable, while others are significantly higher, even though they’re all supposedly factoring in hail and wind damage. Neighbors with similar homes tell completely different stories about what they paid. Some say insurance covered most of it, others had to pay much more out of pocket. I’m trying to understand whether this price variation is normal for Omaha or if I’m missing something important when comparing estimates.
