Iron ore processing is definitely more complex than basic aggregate work. We had similar grade consistency issues until we invested in proper Mineral Processing expertise. The problem was usually in the classification stages rather than primary crushing. Our consultant identified that our screening wasn't removing fines effectively and the cyclone setup wasn't optimized for our ore characteristics. After redesigning the flow sheet and upgrading key equipment, we achieved much better grade control and recovery rates
