Until I started looking into it, and had to do it as part of a university program and research, I also thought it was all some kind of magic. The more you dig into it, the more you realize that it’s not magic at all, just accurate data based on which all the work is done. I think that now, with the advent of technology and satellite data, it’s become easier to control things. Read more about NDVI explained by EOS, for example. The index shows the condition of vegetation. Instead of fertilizing and watering the entire field, you can find a specific area that needs it and fertilize/water only there. And that’s just one of the tools that can help achieve maximum yield, avoid and prevent crises. |
