Nov 17-18 Butts and Wings Festival

Hi. I own a catering company in the Kansas City area and specialize in BBQ. I have recently started branching out to discover other regional bbq flavors. I will be in Charleston the weekend of this festival and would love to see if I could spend so e time with a couple of the competition teams and maybe a director to ask a few questions a and learn more about Carolina BBQ.
Please let me know if anyone is willing to let me hang out with you for a while!

I'm not looking for secrets...just wanting tot understand sauces and rubs that make Carolina bbq different from KC bbq.

Genia, A lot of folks here are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, so the response may be slow in coming.
