Congratulations to Chip Dinkins, pit master of Pair-O-Dice for his first place win at Rock Hill! Chip was a student at the SCBA cooker’s school back in January. That school was taught by two SC State Champions, Tim Handy and Gene Culbertson.
Remember, if you cook in at least three SCBA events you become eligible to attend the FREE SCBA cookers school that will be given again early next year. There is plenty of time left in the year to get in your three plus events.
By the way, Chip, is not the first winner from our first SCBA School. Lew Robertson was in the money at Port Royal for ribs back in February. Congratulations to Lew also.
Another attendee to add to the list, Matt Talbot of High On The Hog. Matt and his team just took 3rd place in ribs this past Saturday at Rock Hill.

Thank you for information on Matt Talbot of High on the Hog. Sorry I left him out. At the time I didn't have a full list of the students.
This is good news. A first and a third place finish taken by graduates of the SCBA Cookers School.
