Hello Fellow Cook Teams,

I hope the spring BBQ season is bringing you much success and goodwill. The South Carolina BBQ Association will again sponsor a FREE competition BBQ class taught by South Carolina Master BBQ Champions! The class will be held in the 2017 off season with dates, location and registration packets available late this year.

The class last year was a great success with many requests to hold another one in 2017. This FREE class will be open to the first 30 teams who apply and have met the following criteria. Too qualify for the free class teams must meet the following criteria.

1.Teams must have cooked in a minimum (3) SCBA events in 2016.
2. Teams must not have placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any SCBA sanctioned category (Butts/Whole Hog/Ribs). This does not include Friday AB events.
3. Currently the class will be open to Team Captain and one team member. This may change based on response.
4.. Teams must physically mail an application to the provided address once registration opens at the end of 2016. No advanced spaces will be held. It will be first come / first served based on USPS postmarked applications.
