My wife, Peggy, and I were shocked and deeply saddened when we heard the new of Bill’s passing on Saturday, October 24. During my five years of SCBA membership I was always drawn to Bill. He was a true ambassador for the association. If Bill was the table captain I did what I could to be on his table. He was very unique and I just enjoyed being around him. From his bag of many things, his baby butt wipes he always shared, to seeing him drive off in his corvette with the top down… Bill was a special guy. Selfishly I will miss him but do know heaven has another good one. My condolences go out to John and the Walsh family and especially to Bill’s grandchildren who Bill always spoke fondly of. He will be missed.
