Bill Walsh

Sad to inform everyone that Bill Walsh passed away this afternoon due to the seriousness of the heart attack. John asked for everyone to raise a glass in his honor. I don't know what the funeral arrangements are yet but will try to find out. He defiantly will be missed. Keep the family in your prayers.

So very sad to hear, Bill was a fine fellow. Will miss him on the BBQ circuit.

Still in shock, Bill was a great man; Teena and I will sorely miss him.

Bill was a mentor and I am deeply saddened. He will be sorely missed by many. My condolences to the Walsh family.

Bill was the first person I met from the SCBA. Thank you Bill for introducing me to the association. You will be missed, but I am sure you are in Heaven now organizing a BBQ Festival!!!

My wife, Peggy, and I were shocked and deeply saddened when we heard the new of Bill’s passing on Saturday, October 24. During my five years of SCBA membership I was always drawn to Bill. He was a true ambassador for the association. If Bill was the table captain I did what I could to be on his table. He was very unique and I just enjoyed being around him. From his bag of many things, his baby butt wipes he always shared, to seeing him drive off in his corvette with the top down… Bill was a special guy. Selfishly I will miss him but do know heaven has another good one. My condolences go out to John and the Walsh family and especially to Bill’s grandchildren who Bill always spoke fondly of. He will be missed.

We all felt his absence at Anderson.
