: This year’s event will take place inside the
: Lakewood Campground Visitors Center. There
: is plenty of parking available in the lot
: across the street.

: This will be a two meat event with official
: turn-in time for Butts at 10:00am and Ribs
: at 11:00am. The Judge’s meeting will be
: held promptly at 9:00am so please be signed
: in by then. If you haven’t already done so,
: please let me know before the event if you
: are earning an apron or hat.

: Please note if one of your family members is
: on a cook team, you will not be able to
: judge. There are other duties available and
: we could always use your help. Also
: remember not to fraternize with the Cook
: Teams or enter their cooking area on
: Saturday morning until all judging has been
: completed. A quick “Hello” and “Good Luck”
: is fine though.

: For those signed up as novices, Joe Traynham
: and Greg Gladley will be your instructors
: for the day.

: There will be a Chicken Wing Cookoff Friday
: night beginning at 5pm. Samples will be
: available to the public with the proceeds
: benefiting Pack Back Buddies.
