It's crazy. Steve's Billed charges $1069. Non covered amount zero. Covered charges are $538.23. (I had mispoke and said non covered charges in my first post) Then it says patient responsibily is zero. So who the heck pays the difference? Our medicare supplent plan G paid 107.65.
(This is just the ambulance bill for his bike accident way back in April.) My amounts are different but billed the same way and also say patient responsibility is zero. Geez, I had to go to bed after all that! Eeek!
