So when they filled all the holes around my house back in, they basically bulldozed all the grass off my entire yard. Then they threw down seed & straw. Problem is we're in the middle of a drought and it's not even what's normally our driest time of year.

So I got sprinklers & splitters & all that good stuff and.... then I screwed up. I asked Kate & Matt to come help me get them all set up over the Labor Day weekend.

And as always... no frickin' response. I sent FB messages, text messages, and left voice mail. No response.

But when T calls and I'm crying because my hands hurt too bad to set it all up by myself, it's MY fault for "not calling asking." How the hell am I supposed to when they won't answer? And won't response to any type of message? What is that MY FAULT?????

I ended up hanging up on him (which absolutely broke my heart) and spent the rest of last night crying...

Meanwhile, the good contractors are here today starting work towards rebuilding my front porch. And my brother & his wife will be here later today. Tomorrow we're touring Buffalo Trace distillery and taking a historical boat tour on the KY River. And then Thursday going to tour Wild Turkey. I hope it's fun.
