Holly heck - that is nasty.

Unfortunately, you likely would not be able to just slap paint and sell. A house inspection would likely show all these issues and you either fix or sell for peanuts. And you might not get to pick and choose what you HAVE to do.

I hate it when there are these things that are necessary evils. Just have to throw money at it to make it go away.
