I guess the Pacific decadal oscillation has something to do with it in addition to an approaching El Nino. Complicated stuff I can't understand.

We are dealing with Ranger's constant barking if he is outside. How in the hey do you keep yours from barking? I don't mind some barking but he barks at everything! Holding his mouth shut and saying quiet works for 90 seconds. We have about had it!
