the vibrate on the shock collar doesn't stop him either. We have used the shock but he goes right back to barking after a minute. He will even bark if he is giving the command to place. The collar seems to put him over threshold so we use it very sparingly, only if he is barking aggressively at dogs at the back fence. I haven't tried a citronella collar. I tried watching a Cesar video and moving him with my foot and giving the chii sound but that didn't work either. It was like "get out of my way, Mom, and let me bark."
