I'm calling this afternoon.

Our insurance is Aetna and Brian went on their site which has the correct code for the claim but says 'out of network care'. Yet in another spot it says they ARE in network.....hmm. Also, says there are actually FOUR claims, two appear to be for something to do with blood pressure (SYST BP>140MM HG IT and DIAST BP 80-89 MM HG) and each claim is for $0.01. What the hell is THAT?!

I have been going to this GP for years, HOWEVER, last year she left the group she's been with for a long time, and went to a new medical group. The old group charged $190 for a wellness visit and insurance covered it all. This place is charging $397 PLUS a charge for "OFFICE O/P EST MOD 30 MIN". What is that? Is it for the assistant who asked me some questions? IDK. That charge was for $363. I'm not that bright, so this is confusing to me.

Anyway, if they are not in Aetna's network, then I guess I have to pay $200.
