Seems there's no loyalty in companies any more. Was talking to a friend last night who got cut recently. He'd worked at this one place for years. His new boss came in & asked if he wanted to transfer to another location. He said "no" because he needed to stay near his family as he had several elderly family members not in the best of health. Boss looked him straight in the eye & said "Then you're fired. Get your crap & leave."

And places wonder why they don't have dedicated loyal employees?????

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear your parting of the ways came so much sooner than expected but glad you're in a position to handle it financially.
