I have not tried anything yet. I know there are recipies for discard but I don't understand how that is different either. Either you use to bake or discard it to feed the starter right? What makes it different? I have also read/saw stuff where people say not to worry about the grams stuff and do so much per part type measurement. It might be causing you grief but it does look good...how did it taste? Did it rise good for you?
